windmill brisbaneIt was built by convicts in 1828 and was originally used for grinding grains. It is the oldest building in Queensland. Over the years it has had many uses including a museum, signal station, fire brigade and a place for television research.  It is now a weather observatory. The outside as cement render to protect the building from rain water, the latest render dates from 1988.People have reported a strange presence from the building and some feel uncomfortable when near/in it.
