First off she is the same Johnnie Fiori who is now in Hairspray in the West End, she is the same Johnnie Fiori who is also a singer song writer, she is that American on Most Haunted and in May she will be launching the debut of a new show, “Living with the Dead” on Living which will also feature Ian Lawman. Johnnie was born a natural sensitive and likes to describe herself as a guidepost with a heart. She grew up in a small rural town in America surrounded by a large family whose matriarch was her Great Grandmother and she was the first adult to recognize her special gifts when Johnnie was only a small child. Johnnie was not the first in her family to show special abilities and comes from a long line of spiritual readers and healers. She feels blessed that her Great-Grandmother, Magnolia Sweet, nurtured her gifts and showed her how to embrace the things that she could not see but she could so acutely feel. Johnnie says, “My gift comes through me, not from me”. She has been called many things including clairvoyant, medium, psychic and healer, but she is most comfortable with the term sensitive.Johnnie was aware that people who have had great tragedies can become very intuitive or have the gifts they already have enhanced and that was very true of her. When she was still in the states she had a dream of her brother lying in a casket and two weeks later a voice said into her ear that her brother was dead. Her worst fear was confirmed a few hours later when she learned her brother had been murdered trying to help a woman who was being robbed. Her clairaudient and mediumistic skills grew and have deepened and strengthened since she moved to the United Kingdom from the States soon after losing her brother. Johnnie continued to explore her abilities through unrelenting study, courses and books. She aims to “give readings that enable people to better read themselves”. She has studied the history regarding wise women, shamans, medicine men, psychics, mediums, healers, Tarot, The Sibyls, Merlin, Morgan LaFey and anything paranormal. And she is not ashamed to say, “Yes, I love Harry Potter too.” She pulls from her own life experience and her understanding that sometimes we must be more compassionate to the needs of others especially to those who feel they can’t cope or won’t cope. She will hold your hand and wipe your tears while at the same time give you a big time reality checks. Johnnie is very nurturing of others whether it’s giving intuitive readings, mixing her aroma-therapeutic lotions and potions or brewing her special teas for friends and loved ones. She keeps one foot planted firmly in reality while accepting that the other foot must fly an ancient path. Taken with kind permission from Johnnie from her website www.johnniefiori.com
