At the edge of a field a little way from Lodden at the crossing of 3 roads there is a little stone and around its base is packed with rubble. It is noted as a cross stone but was probably a boundary marker.
On certain nights at midnight an apparition of anold lady wearing red is seen sitting on the stone.
