Crop Circles

Crop CircleThis is a term which is used to describe the flattening of crops to create patterns. Crop circles can be found worldwide, and various reasons are given to their existence.  These range from the natural such as manmade or geological anomalies to the paranormal such as UFOs.  The earliest record of crop circles was in a woodcut (relief printing) from the 17th century which showed a creature mowing a circular design into a field. Earlier designs were quite simple usually circular patterns in various sizes, but as years have gone on their designs have become more complex. Some of the crop circles around today are known to be manmade with the people who have done them owning up and providing proof, while others remain unexplained, whether this be that that particular artist has not come forward, or that ‘something else’ created them, remains for ongoing discussions and varying opinions.
